There are books that have shaped humanity, but are almost never read. This app lets you converse with the Rig Ved, one of the oldest books ever created. The Rig Ved was composed probably since the last Ice Age, some 17,000 years ago. Orally transmitted over the generations, it was written down around 1500 BCE. What if you could talk to the many composers of the Rig Ved? Would some of the ideas percolate into your mind? What would it feel like to see the Proto-Sanskrit script it was written in? What do those ancient chants that travelled down the ages sound like? This app brings the Rig Ved to people in a never before opportunity. This app is a Synthor - A Synthetic Thought Generator. Its synthetic mind is a cloud of the sentences from the Rig Ved. Each sentence has an equal probability of being 'said'. As you interact with it, your typed sentences trigger a probability cloud in the Synthor's mind until one or more verses from the Rig Ved appear. This is not like a keyword search, or a random sentence picker, it is a mind that assigns probabilities to what it might say, it remembers - and sometimes it forgets, until the probabilities 'collapse' to one particular section. So go ahead, talk to those ancient thinkers....
