Descripción

A Michelson interferometer is a tool used to produce interference between two beams of light by splitting a beam of monochromatic light into two equal amplitude beams. One beam hits a fixed mirror and the other hits a movable mirror giving different beam lengths which converge on a detector screen giving an interference pattern. Used for testing lenses and prisms, measuring the Index of Refraction, the determination of Wavelength of Monochromatic Light, and determining the Resolution of Spectral Lines, etc. This application simulates the interferometer to find the wavelength of monochromatic light. A valuable tool for colleges.
