This game is often called GoMoku, Five in a row, Renju or Caro. You must make five symbols in a line and do it sooner than your opponent. Many external artificial intelligences from many countries can be downloaded from gomocup.org web site. The international GomoCup AI tournament takes place every year and the AI is getting stronger. It's almost impossible to win. But you can adjust time limit for a move and time limit for a match. You can also play this game with your friend over the internet if you have a public IP address.
