This app is the result of auditing "Linear Algebra 234" at Northern Kentucky University 48 years after originally taking the course. The textbook used was David C. Lay's Linear Algebra and its Applications. The majority of the calculations use the methods outlined in the book. Also, Introduction to Linear Algebra by Gilbert Strang was used for further insight into the material. The app is results / solution oriented and does not have a step by step solution for every calculation type. It is intended for use by students taking an introductory linear algebra course (to check their work). All calculations from Guass elimination to the QR algorithm are internally coded routines, no external libraries or packages are used. The app is a Win32 bit executable and uses extended precision floating point throughout. Hundreds of matrices from the above books, MATLAB, and Octave were used to test the calculations. The app features the geometric effect of linear transformations on 2D and 3D images that can also be animated by pressing the spinner button controls. The same can be done with plotting trajectories of linear difference equations. See screenshots for app capabilities.
