Obyte wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet for accessing Obyte platform. Running since 2016, Obyte is a distributed ledger based on directed acyclic graph (DAG). It's a post-blockchain technology that achieves true decentralization by getting rid of big power centers and middlemen, such as miners. The Obyte wallet enables you to: - send/receive crypto; - access decentralized applications such as DeFi apps; - send conditional payments, the recipient receives the payment only after meeting their obligations; - create contracts with arbitration. The funds are locked in decentralized escrow until the contract's terms are met, and in case of a dispute an arbiter resolves it; - use textcoins to send/receive crypto through other chat applications, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, etc, or via email, even if the recipient has no Obyte wallet yet; - create and use your decentralized identity;
