The application “Hiking without backpack” is a modern e-tool presenting the natural and cultural heritage of the Polish-Slovak border region and is directed mainly to the hikers. The application will include all information on hiking trails of the border region, taking into account the preferences of tourists, natural advantages and attractions of the above mentioned region and all information necessary to plan a trip. The tool will be extremely helpful in creating a travel plan that takes into account the project’s assumptions and a new tourism offer, i.e. HIKING WITHOUT BACKPACK, which involves the cooperation of 6 to 8 hotel (accommodation) facilities, located no more than 25 km of combining them hiking trails which will be connected in a trail in the form of a loop across the border region. Hiking consists in moving from the first facility along the loop for the number of days corresponding to the number of facilities on the trail. Tourists departing of the first object leave there their luggage and a car. The owner of the facility carries luggage or, if necessary, delivers the car to the next facility which allows to know natural and cultural attractions in a convenient way.
