Smart Battery Monitor

Lithium-ion batteries naturally degrade over time, leading to reduced charge capacity compared to when they were new. Consistently keeping your laptop plug in to the power and a keep your battery charged to 100% accelerates this deterioration process. To address this problem, I have build this software to better manage the charging cycle of the battery that should extend the battery life. With Smart charging monitor installed on your pc, your can set the minimum and maximum levels for the battery. The lowest levels are between 0-30% and the maximum levels are between 75-100%. This will allow you to fully charge and discharge the battery when you wish, however the ideal settings should be set between 20-95%. These values should serve to prolong the overall health and lifespan of your battery. You can easily change the settings of the Smart charging software by clicking on the battery icon, located on the right side of the taskbar on your laptop when you wish to do so. You will get a notification when the battery reaches you settings and will reveal a message indicating that the battery level has been reached. You can enable the sound notification and this will play a sound at these levels. While the battery level may not reach its minimum level of 0% and maximum capacity of 100% , this deliberate behavior is designed to safeguard the battery from heat and preventing overcharging and overuse and degradation.
