Popis
Teaching or learning applied electricity and electronics can be engaging and exciting! Learning through a series of challenges beats textbooks and lectures anytime. Electricity Challenge is a set of fifteen interactive lessons in that let students learn by “doing”. Each lesson has fully worked out example circuits. Learners are presented with meaningful problems to solve. Student results are graded and corrected immediately. Lesson results can be printed or stored in a disk file. The component values and parameters used in each lesson are randomly selected. A classroom of students working on a lesson each gets a unique problem of the same difficulty. Students may repeat a lesson without seeing the same numbers and parameters. Teachers can work through a lesson projected on classroom screens prior to tasking students with a problem type. Do you teach workshops or classes that involve electricity? Electricity Challenge can bring learning to life. Participants are engaged in the learning process rather than passive observers. You can now be a facilitator of learning instead of just a lecturer. Electricity Challenge can be a digital “workbook” for the class or workshop. The topics included in Electricity Challenge are: (1) Electric Ideas, (2)Electrical Components, (3) Powers of Ten, (4) Color Codes, (5) Ohm’s Law One, (6) Ohm’s Law Two, (7) Power One, (8) Power Two, (9) Series Voltage Sources, (10) Series Circuits One, (11) Series Circuits Two, (12) Parallel Circuits One, (13) Parallel Circuits Two, (14) Series Parallel Circuits One and (15) Series Parallel Circuits Two. Classes or workshops may choose to use as few or as many topics as suitable for the purpose.
