Popis
Chinese characters, also known as Hanzi, are used in both Chinese and Japanese languages. They also appear in Korean and Vietnamese literature. While words in most western languages consist of a varying number of basic letters, Hanzi are composed of a certain number of fundamental strokes, in slightly varying size/orientation. In this interactive game, the players are presented with randomly placed strokes of a basic Chinese character. The player can move these strokes using mouse or touch screen to assemble the character. Once the player submits its result, the game will determine whether the assemble is successful or not, using machine learning technology. The player will be presented new, possibly more challenging, character if successful. Through this fun game, Chinese learners can better understand the stroke composition of Hanzi. The game can also challenge Chinese experts as a brainteaser. Knowing the correct placement of strokes will improve the handwriting of all players.
