McAfee® Central for HP

McAfee is blocking me from too many of my important programs - calling these programs "risky" but they are Not. All of these program's are legal & safe: such as google chrome & my i-Tunes account. What can I do? Please help & let me know as soon as you can - thank you - my primary e-mail acct. for now is [email protected]

The only thing this does is repeatedly notify me that my pc "isn't fully protected." Very helpful, innit?

Anything that starts with "McAfee" has to be bad. There are much better options out there, both paid and free...

It came pre installed and automatically turns on as soon as you start using the laptop. I'm sick of the pop ups about it blocking unwanted software and can't find any way to turn it off. Shut this stupid thing up I don't even plan on using this software ever.

Warning: McAfee Anti-Virus Program may prevent most viruses from getting through to your computer or laptop, but it doesn't prevent "Unwanted Programs" from getting through to your computer ! When I called them for help in getting rid of the "Unwanted Programs", they told me that their Anti-Virus Program wasn't responsible for that, Sorry ! I did get help elsewhere to rid myself of the "Unwanted Programs that had slipped by McAfee Anti-Virus. Then I bought Webroot Anti-Virus !!!

This app is already installed on my computer - which I just received (birthday gift), it is not compatible with my version windows 8.1 and it will not open and don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions?
