Drawboard PDF

I paid for this app a long time ago... way before they started doing the subscription model. What I agreed to was $10 to OWN the app. They then decided to switch to a subscription model, so they LOCKED me out of the program, which I need for school and work. Now I have to go look for a new program that will let me make annotations since I won't support a company that doesn't take care of their earliest customers.

This app was included on my Surface. Then I purchased it for work and it worked great. Yet I guess 10 bucks was not enough for them, given 2 months later I started to get in an in app screen popping into my work when ever I clicked on "new feature" that was added to the tool. I do not mind if the new features are separated but they are added into every day tasks. There is no way to turn off "features" that require the "pro" addition. And by the way the Pro is 24 bucks a year ...remember I paid 10 bucks. It's a scam - find something else...there are a lot of choices in the world.

I thought when I bought the program it would give me access to the Pro features... turns out that's a separate subscription. Without that, it has exactly the same features as the free Reader app provided by Microsoft. Waste of $10.

This requires a subscription for some features... See the "PRO" version list. Please urge app authors to stop subscription based applications. I would consider paying a quite a bit more for this app to avoid a subscription, and to own the app.

I paid $10 for this app 2 years ago and have enjoyed using it as a musician. This morning I tried to access the app and it has locked me out and is trying to make me purchase the subscription. This is very disappointing.

Don't trust the rating for this app. Look over the most recent reviews. This app is very disappointing. They bait you with a list of great features, you purchase the app (I paid $10), now all I get are notices that my "trial subscription" has expired and that I have to pay a regular subscription fee to use any of the most useful features. Read the reviews before you spend any money on this app. $25 bucks a year for the pro version is not worth it.

I am currently a medical student w/ course notes and text books in PDF format. Have been using Notability on the iPad for the past year and now found this after purchasing a surface pro 3. The scrolling is very smooth and allows me to scroll using my fingers and annotate w the pen without any problems. This app justifies me using a Windows tablet to take notes over an iPad. Much better than Adobe or Microsoft's PDF options. Was definitely worth the $10.

After having to pay for this app, I am very disapointed that in order to access a lot of the features, especially the new one, or if you want to use the surface dial there is an in app purchase to unlock these things, the even more disappointing thing is that its a subscription, so its not a buy it once and own it for life, I have to subscribe in order to access features in an app that I have again, already purchased, I will be looking for a replacement for this app, wish I was able to refund this poor decision.
